Job description

As the Head of North America Treasury Services Commercialization within Global Payments, you will build a cross-region and market-specific strategy and commercial approach for J.P. Morgan’s Treasury Services offerings in North America. In this newly created role, you and your team will work to maximize market impact, client adoption, and revenue growth for TS in North America with both new commercial launches and existing solution refreshes.

You and your team will work to activate the North America regional commercialization function and bring together the full breadth and depth of our capabilities to define our segment / industry strategy and playbook. Additionally, your team will cultivate strong connectivity with Sales, Product Solution Specialists, Product Management, Marketing and other partners critical for commercial success. Ultimately, your team will work to identify points of differentiation for J.P. Morgan Payments and Treasury Services offerings (nuanced to specific markets, segments, or client needs) or work with Product to define enhancements to bolster our commercial positioning.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead a team dedicated to North America Treasury Services Commercialization serving all client segments
  • Defines and prioritizes strategic initiatives to drive market impact, client adoption and revenue growth
  • Ensure that partners critical for commercial success have clarity of key messages and are engaged in motions that will maximize our market presence
  • Continuously reunderwrite our competitive positioning vs. established and emerging players and business models
  • Build and maintain a country/market level and pan-region inventory of available offerings; build upon this domain and augment with strategic overlay of industry solutions, segment bundles and proactively constructed solutions for different use cases
  • Builds a cohesive team through strong communication, team involvement, and strong leadership
  • Defines and operationalizes key performance metrics and OKRs for regional commercialization; drives initiatives to right-size performance dimensions where there are opportunities
  • Establish effective partner routines with stakeholders across Payments, including TS Product, Sales, Channels, Marketing, Business Transformation, and segment leads
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
  • 8+ years of business development, revenue growth, or experience scaling businesses or products
  • Experience in North American financial institution or fintech environment, strong understanding of the payments and treasury services landscape, including market trends and competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies
  • Excellent team-building and leadership skills
  • Strong executive presence, comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and partnership mindset
  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, strong work ethic, proactively setting and achieving challenging goals, ability to work independently, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, flexible / adaptable to changing environment and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Demonstrated strong ability to analyze problems, communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a matrixed organization
