Supporting 2nd Line of Defense Credit Risk Management

The Risk Management function is dedicated to safeguarding the bank's assets and ensuring operational stability. The department develops and implements the risk framework, policies, standards, and procedures aligned with the bank's strategic goals. The Risk Review team independently assesses the effectiveness of the bank's processes and policies, recommending and implementing best practices to mitigate current and upcoming risks.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Analyzes and investigates

Required Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business/economics related field
  • 2 years of credit risk management or underwriting experience, with a background in commercial and/or consumer lending
  • 2 years of experience in reading, interpreting, and analyzing financial data and GAAP financial statement
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office PowerPoint (creating and executing presentations), and Excel (Financial Spreading, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Advanced Formulas, Formatting, etc.)
  • Reside in or willing to relocate to the Draper UT / Salt Lake City UT Regional Area - this position is onsite at the office location in Draper, UT 
  • Willing/able to work Monday - Friday at the office location in Draper, UT
     

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Ability to manage ambiguity
  • Ability to be comfortable in building processes, flexible - change agent
  • Solid Excel PPP PowerBI/SQL coding experience
  • Financial/risk lending experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
