Position Overview

We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Real Estate Development Associate - Sales & Acquisitions to support commercial real estate acquisitions, property sales, real estate development, site selection, and business development within the growing cannabis industry.

This is a highly proactive, sales-oriented role focused on identifying off-market commercial real estate opportunities, generating new leads, prospecting property owners, evaluating potential development sites, and helping move real estate transactions from initial outreach through negotiation and closing.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B sales, cold calling, lead generation, business development, prospecting, account development, or commercial real estate sales. Previous commercial real estate experience is valuable but not required. We are especially interested in candidates who know how to build a pipeline from scratch, aren't afraid to pick up the phone, and can turn cold prospects into qualified business opportunities.

What You'll Do
  • Identify and pursue off-market commercial real estate acquisition opportunities through cold calling, direct outreach, prospecting, networking, and lead-generation campaigns.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting to property owners, commercial real estate professionals, investors, developers, and other prospective business contacts.
  • Research markets and perform commercial real estate site selection to identify potential locations for cannabis retail development.
  • Generate, qualify, nurture, and convert inbound and outbound leads for commercial property acquisitions, development opportunities, and real estate sales.
  • Develop relationships with property owners, commercial real estate brokers, investors, developers, buyers, sellers, and industry partners.
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of acquisition, development, and property sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate prospect information, activity, follow-up schedules, and deal stages within the company's CRM and sales pipeline.
  • Conduct market and property research to support real estate acquisition, site selection, development, and investment decisions.
  • Assist with preparation of Letters of Intent (LOIs), proposals, presentations, property information packages, and deal materials.
  • Support commercial real estate negotiations and transactions from initial prospecting through closing.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with property owners, prospective sellers, buyers, and other leads.
  • Monitor commercial real estate market trends, cannabis industry trends, and emerging markets to identify new development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout the acquisition, development, sales, and closing process.
  • Help identify creative strategies for generating new commercial real estate opportunities and expanding the company's portfolio.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, cold calling, business development, lead generation, prospecting, account development, or a related sales role preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and build a sales or business development pipeline.
  • Comfortable conducting cold calls and high-volume outbound prospecting.
  • Strong sales mentality with the ability to initiate conversations, build relationships, overcome objections, and identify opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, relationship-building, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, sales pipelines, lead-generation campaigns, and prospect follow-up.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable working toward measurable sales and business development goals.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify new opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects, deals, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
