Commercial Project Manager
Gardner/Fox Associates, Inc. – Bryn Mawr, PA

Gardner/Fox is a full-service design/build construction firm founded in 1987 and based in Bryn Mawr. Our award-winning firm operates both a residential and commercial division.

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing projects from pre-construction through closeout across a range of commercial sectors, including healthcare, office, hospitality, restaurant, and retail.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented manager with strong communication skills and a proven ability to coordinate complex commercial construction projects involving multiple trades and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from planning to completion
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans
  • Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
  • Lead project meetings and issue timely updates and documentation
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve conflicts, and manage changes
  • Ensure compliance with all project specifications, codes, and safety standards
  • Prepare subcontracts, purchase materials, process invoices, and prepare client billing

Preferred or Required Background and Education:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Background in at least one or more sectors: healthcare, office, hospitality, retail, or restaurant
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience)
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Experience with construction platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, and BIM software
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling to job sites in the region.
