Laundry Manager Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and supervise daily laundry operations and team members
  • Ensure all linens, terry, uniforms, and laundry items meet resort quality standards
  • Monitor production flow and prioritize daily workloads to support hotel operations
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers
  • Inspect finished linens and maintain consistent quality control standards
  • Coordinate linen distribution to housekeeping, food & beverage, banquet, and guest service operations
  • Maintain proper inventory counts and assist with linen management and organization
  • Promote a positive team culture through hands-on leadership, coaching, and support
  • Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed
  • Communicate effectively with department leaders regarding operational needs, events, and occupancy demands
Laundry Manager Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must have two years of previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Must have Luxury hotel or resort experience
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment with changing priorities
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and linen processing operations
  • Ability to push linen carts weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Preferred Background & Skills
  • Experience in Laundry operations  (preferred)
  • Knowledge of laundry production standards and linen management best practices
  • Ability to build team morale and maintain a positive work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and operational follow-through
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus
