Job description

Lead a Crew. Own the Route. Raise the Standard.

LEXCUT is hiring a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to lead one of our commercial lawn care and landscaping maintenance crews in the Lexington area.

This is not a “just show up and mow” job.

This role is for someone who can lead from the front, keep a 3–5 person landscaping crew moving, hold a high standard, and make sure every property looks sharp and professionally maintained when the truck pulls away.

Responsibilities

You’ll lead a crew performing commercial landscape maintenance and lawn care services, including:

  • Lawn mowing
  • String trimming
  • Edging sidewalks and curbs
  • Blowing grass and debris
  • Landscape bed maintenance
  • Shrub trimming and pruning
  • Property cleanup
  • Final site presentation

You will also:

  • Drive a truck and trailer
  • Lead and manage a 3–5 person landscaping crew
  • Ensure crews are loaded and ready each morning
  • Maintain production pace for the day
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are followed
  • Identify issues before they become callbacks
  • Communicate with the operations team when needed
  • Represent LexCut professionally on every property

Qualifications

  • Experience in landscaping, lawn care, or landscape maintenance
  • Previous crew leader, foreman, or team leader experience preferred
  • Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment
  • Experience with mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers
  • Ability to manage a 3–5 person crew
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to drive a truck and trailer
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
