As a Commercial Landscape Estimator, you will play a vital role in shaping impactful commercial landscape projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities
  • Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial landscape construction projects.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services using estimating software.
  • Manage the bidding process, including timely proposal submission and client follow-up to secure new projects.
  • Support project execution by assisting with project setup, scheduling, coordination, billing, and change order management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, field staff, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership, to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and billing to help drive profitability and maintain financial performance.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial landscape construction, estimating, project management, or a related green-industry field.
  • Proficiency in reading plans, performing quantity takeoffs, developing pricing, and preparing competitive proposals.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to identify issues, evaluate options, and keep projects moving forward.
