Con App, Inc. is an established East Coast specialty subcontractor with more than 30 years in business, seven operating divisions, and work across 11 states. Our commercial division self-performs cold-formed and interior metal stud framing, drywall systems and finishing, insulation, rough carpentry and blocking, acoustical and specialty ceilings, and doors, frames, and hardware.

We are hiring a field-focused Superintendent to take ownership of one assigned commercial project at a time—from mobilization through punch and closeout. You will lead crews, protect labor productivity, coordinate with the general contractor and other trades, and keep the work safe, on schedule, and built right the first time.

This is a jobsite leadership role, not an office-based project manager position.

What You’ll Do

• Run daily field operations for the assigned project from mobilization through final punch and closeout.
• Plan manpower, assign daily and weekly work, and make adjustments before production or schedule slips.
• Build and maintain a three-week look-ahead and participate in GC huddles, coordination meetings, and schedule discussions.
• Track installed production and labor hours against the project labor budget and communicate productivity or schedule risks early.
• Coordinate sequencing, deliveries, lifts, equipment, staging, and access with the GC, other trades, suppliers, and Con App’s project team.
• Work from contract drawings and specifications; verify layout and dimensions, document conflicts, and communicate RFI needs before work is installed.
• Walk the work daily for quality and safety across framing, drywall hanging and finishing, ceilings, insulation, blocking, and related scopes.
• Complete and verify daily reports, employee time and classifications, photo documentation, delivery tickets, material requests, and signed T&M tickets.
• Maintain a clean, organized jobsite and enforce company and project safety requirements.
• Drive punch-list completion and closeout while training and developing foremen, mechanics, and apprentices.

What We’re Looking For

• At least five years of commercial drywall, metal framing, and acoustical-ceiling experience, including two years leading crews as a foreman, lead, or superintendent.
• Hands-on knowledge of interior metal stud framing, drywall installation and finishing, and ACT ceiling systems.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications, perform or verify layout, and identify constructability conflicts in the field.
• Proven ability to plan manpower, track labor production, maintain schedules, and hold crews accountable.
• Clear, professional communication with general contractors, inspectors, suppliers, project managers, and field employees.
• Comfort using Procore, Bluebeam, and Google Workspace—or the ability and willingness to learn them.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel daily to the assigned commercial jobsite.

Preferred, Not Required

• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• OSHA 30, or OSHA 10 with willingness to complete OSHA 30.
• First Aid/CPR, scaffold, aerial-lift, or forklift certifications.
• Experience with cold-formed exterior framing, curtain-wall backup, doors/frames/hardware, rough carpentry, or insulation.
• Experience on K–12, healthcare, municipal, government, or prevailing-wage projects.

Schedule and Work Location

Full-time, field-based position. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday during the day, with occasional early starts, evenings, or weekend work based on project requirements.

Projects are located throughout West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle, Western Maryland, the I-81 corridor, and Northern Virginia. The Superintendent is assigned to one project at a time and works primarily from that jobsite. Travel expectations for each assignment will be discussed before placement.
