Part Time Position


Overview:


Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition; perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, appliances, bathrooms, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing garbage from apartments, assisting where needed in maintaining grounds and removing trash and other debris.


Job Responsibilities

  • Clean apartment floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming and steam cleaning carpet where necessary
  • Clean all appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher) and all other areas such as cabinets, countertops etc in kitchen to a high standard
  • Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures, mirrors, sinks, tubs, showers, and floors
  • Remove any discarded items left behind by a resident
  • Cleans & sanitizes walls throughout the apartment
  • Remove all trash from inside and outside the apartment
  • Clean all glass to include windows, doors and mirrors
  • Clean office area to include trash removal, light dusting and wiping down desks and other office equipment, clean and stock bathrooms, vacuum as necessary
  • Assist with light maintenance such as removing faceplates & outlet covers to prep for painting
  • Travel between 2 properties to assist with cleaning needs as necessary
Requirements:

Requirements

  • Capable of following all safety specifications
  • Experience working as a cleaner
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Capable of completing work requiring physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching and repetitive motion
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
  • Take and pass a drug screening test
  • Take and pass a background screening
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work
