Job description

The Commercial Card Sales Project Specialist role is responsible for overseeing the commercial card contract process, leading the intake, analysis, and optimization of client accounts payable spend data and generating client facing sales material to assist the sales teams (TMOs/CSOs/AEs) during the sales process.

This role acts as the operational bridge between Sales, Product, Visa, along with Bottomline and Priority Payments integrated payables platforms for program contract agreements needed and for translating raw AP spend data into actionable card growth insights and forward-looking revenue opportunities.

Must comply with all Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements, Privacy of Customer Information Policy, and all consumer protection laws, regulations, and Bank policies as related to assigned job duties.

How you'll spend your day:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of the commercial card contract process, including drafting, tracking & distributing to sales team and bankcard credit.
  • Work closely with Commercial Card Credit, Legal and sales teams to ensure current process needs are being met, update templates as directed and partner with each group to continue to forward process improvements.
  • Ensure alignment between pricing, rebates and client program platform participation.
  • Work closely with sales and internal team members to answer questions and gather information for contract completion.
  • Serve as the central point of intake for client & prospect AP spend files.
  • Standardize and validate file formatting needed.
  • Submit spend data for network and partner analysis input including:
  • Visa Match and Visa Supplier Enablement Team Analysis
  • Integrated payables optimization through Bottomline and supplier payment analysis through Priority Payments
  • Translate network match results into card opportunity insights identifying:
  • Card-eligible suppliers
  • Large-ticket conversion opportunities
  • Supplier enablement potential
  • Develop forward-looking card spend projections by estimating:
  • Addressable AP spend
  • Card penetration potential
  • Interchange revenue growth
  • Convert analytical network match data into client-facing insights providing sales teams with:
  • Opportunity sizing
  • Program growth narratives
  • Data-backed client meeting support materials

We're excited to talk to you if:

  • You have 7+years of knowledge and relevant experience in the commercial card industry along with banking and financial industry experience with overall understanding of sales methodologies and fully integrated CRM platforms, with 4+ years of direct previous experience in commercial banking, B2B payments, treasury, commercial card and payable automation OR any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.
  • You have a solid understanding of commercial card programs, product sets and integrated payables solutions.
  • You have effective communication and presentation skills with executive audiences, including written, verbal and phone.
  • You have familiarity with A/P workflows and how it relates to commercial card/virtual card and integrated payables solutions.
  • You have a collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with commercial sales, product, implementation, supplier enablement, legal, credit and client success teams.
  • You have a deep understanding of the content needed by commercial, treasury and commercial card sales teams to engage and educate their prospects and clients.
  • You show effective leadership skills.
  • You have ability to be organized and provide timely follow-up.
  • You have ability to work independently and concurrently on multiple projects or project stages of varying durations and complexities.
  • You have experience in working with C-level decision makers, preparing, presenting, and negotiating responses for proposals.

Compensation Range:

$98,208 - $144,705
