Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Commercial Property Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a commercial real estate portfolio in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a property management professional who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and can support building operations, lease administration, tenant relations, vendor coordination, and financial reporting.

The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with senior property leadership, engineering, accounting, vendors, tenants, and internal teams to help ensure properties are managed efficiently, professionally, and with a high level of service. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values supportive leadership, collaborative teamwork, career growth, and exposure to multiple areas of commercial property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily commercial property operations, including work orders, vendor coordination, inspections, incident reports, insurance claims, life safety items, and tenant service requests.
- Assist with lease administration, tenant communications, new tenant packages, tenant memos, construction coordination, and tenant relations programs.
- Prepare and review service contracts, construction orders, bid packages, vendor service orders, and pricing for miscellaneous property projects.
- Support financial reporting activities, including monthly accruals, invoice coding and approvals, accounts payable, accounts receivable review, budget tracking, tenant bill-backs, and operating expense reconciliations.
- Conduct weekly building inspections and monthly cleaning, landscaping, and vacant space inspections to help maintain property standards.
- Communicate regularly with property management leadership, engineering, accounting, tenants, brokers, vendors, visitors, and corporate support teams.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $60,000 to $62,000 per year.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
