Apprentice Electrician
BLVD Electric Inc. - Southern California
About the Role
BLVD Electric Inc., a commercial electrical contractor with 150+ employees serving projects across California, is looking for Apprentice Electricians who want to learn commercial electrical work the right way. This is an opportunity to train alongside experienced foremen and journeymen on real commercial projects, with the field leadership, systems, and support to help you grow into a stronger electrician.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with commercial electrical installations, including conduit, wire, boxes, panels, devices, and lighting
  • Work with foremen and journeymen to complete daily tasks
  • Read and follow plans, layouts, and field direction
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas and proper housekeeping
  • Help track material needs, tools, equipment, and daily progress
  • Communicate field conditions, missing material, or jobsite issues to foremen
  • Follow BLVD Electric quality, safety, and production standards
  • Represent the company professionally with general contractors, inspectors, clients, vendors, and other trades

Requirements
  • Apprenticeship registration or trade school experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn commercial electrical installation methods
  • Ability to work safely, communicate clearly, and follow direction
  • Basic hand tools required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to grow

Pay
$20.00-$28.00 per hour, based on experience, reliability, and production ability.
