Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an execution-focused, autonomous Digital Marketing Specialist to own our customer lifecycle marketing and community management channels. In this role, you will take the lead on maximizing the lifetime value of the high-volume traffic driven by our large-scale paid media campaigns, focusing entirely on maximizing customer lifetime value and brand loyalty across distinct corporate properties.

Duties and Responsibilities: Email & SMS Lifecycle Marketing
  • Campaign Ownership: Independently strategize, build, copywrite, and deploy the promotional email and SMS marketing calendars for both brand properties.
  • Automated Flow Optimization: Design, implement, and continuously A/B test behavior-triggered automated sequences (Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, Win-Backs) to capture missed revenue.
  • Database Management and Segmentation: Maintain healthy customer lists, perform regular list hygiene, and segment subscribers based on purchase history, behavior, and engagement to deliver targeted messaging.
Reputation & Community Management
  • Review & Listing Oversight: Actively manage and respond to public customer reviews, feedback, and Q&A across platforms like Google Business Profile, BBB, Trustpilot, and direct site reviews.
  • Social & Forum Moderation: Monitor and engage with customer comments, direct messages, and brand mentions across social channels and forums (e.g., Reddit, Quora) to protect brand voice and resolve customer friction.
  • Brand Voice & Trust: Ensure all public customer touchpoints uphold brand standards, turning negative interactions into positive outcomes and fostering active, loyal customer communities.
  • Forums and Social Listening: Proactively monitor Reddit, Quora, and industry-specific forums to identify relevant customer pain points, join active discussions, and position our brands as authoritative solutions through high-value comment engagement.
Organic Content Distribution & Social Strategy
  • Publishing Management: Partner closely with the Creative Content Specialist to schedule, format, and distribute finished assets across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Strategic Copywriting: Craft high-performing social captions, platform descriptions, hooks, and titles tailored to each social platform's best practices.
  • Cross-Channel Alignment: Coordinate organic social rollout schedules to seamlessly mirror current website promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Data Analysis & KPI Reporting
  • Analytics Tracking: Leverage Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and marketing performance dashboards to track, compile, and interpret retention and organic KPIs.
  • Insight Delivery: Prepare clean weekly and monthly organic performance reports for senior leadership, translating data trends into actionable content and email strategy adjustments.
Event & Trade Show Coordination (Special Projects)
  • Event Execution: Take the tactical lead on our trade shows, managing logistics, booth marketing collateral coordination, vendor timelines, and promotional outreach leading up to and following the event.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience: Miniumum of 2 years of dedicated digital marketing experience in an eCommerce, B2B, or corporate environment.
  • Technical Tool Proficiency: Hands-on, practical experience utilizing email marketing platforms, social media scheduling dashboards, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Advanced Copywriting Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with a proven track record of mastering distinct brand voices and delivering consumer-facing text that requires minimal managerial review.
  • Execution Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight, taking complete ownership of a multi-channel content and deployment calendar.
  • Data Literacy: Strong analytical skills; comfortable running A/B tests, generating performance reports, and translating engagement metrics into tactical growth.
Education and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, English, or a related field. (Equivalent direct, provable on-the-job corporate experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time, dedicated digital marketing experience, specifically with managing email lifecycle marketing and community engagement.
  • Track Record: Proven success autonomously managing multi-channel content calendars and deploying email marketing campaigns that require minimal managerial oversight.
  • Industry Context (Preferred but not required): Prior experience in B2B marketing, manufacturing, or multi-brand eCommerce environments is highly desirable.
