Command and Control (C2) Systems Engineer II
Boarhog LLC has an immediate opening for an C2 Systems Engineer II in San Diego, CA.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The C2 Systems Engineer supports the U.S. Navy's Program Executive Office (PEO) for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) International Program Office (PMW-740) at the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in San Diego, CA with engineering support to the Egypt Case Manager.

The C2 Systems Engineer will support the National Maritime Surveillance System (NMSS) project and other efforts under guidance from the Lead Engineer, and includes working with each Project Lead for multiple disciplines, such as C2, Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), Aerostat, Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), Sonar, Communications Vehicles, and Microwave Communications Towers to ensure the individual projects can be successfully integrated into a System of Systems (SoS) architecture.

Duties of this position include supporting the Case Manager and Lead Engineer in requirements definition, analysis of alternatives, integration, testing, training, production, installation, contracting, budget planning, and execution of assigned programs. The C2 Systems Engineer shall also present briefs to external stakeholders to include but not limited to Combatant Commanders, other Joint Services, Security Cooperation Communities, U.S. Government agencies, Industry partners, and representatives from the Partner Nation.

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
  • Experience with interfacing C4I programs such as (C2, Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), Aerostat, Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), Sonar, Communications Vehicle, and Microwave Communications Towers is highly desired.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Engineering Discipline
  • Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in systems engineering

ADDITIONAL HIRING CONSIDERATIONS:
  • Must possess a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Preference is given to candidates who reside in a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) as determined by the Small Business Administration (see SBA website)
