Pest Assassins is a veteran and family-owned business that has been providing top-notch pest control services to residential and commercial customers in Rhode Island and Massachusetts since 2011. Our commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction drives everything we do. We are looking for a dedicated Service Manager to lead our service team and ensure top-tier service delivery.


Job Summary:


As the Service Manager, you will oversee daily service operations, manage and support technicians, ensure compliance with industry standards, and help drive performance and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with experience in pest control and a passion for team development and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Recruit, hire and train qualified service personnel. Maintain targeted staffing levels
  • Supervise and support a team of pest, and mosquito technicians
  • Monitor route performance and ensure timely, effective service delivery
  • Conduct regular field audits, ride-alongs, and quality control checks
  • Train, coach, and mentor service team members to meet performance goals
  • Manage scheduling, routing, inventory, and equipment needs
  • Create and conduct effective monthly training meetings using PowerPoint
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company safety standards
  • Handle escalated customer issues and work to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and ownership teams
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Promote a positive team culture and uphold company values
  • Assist with fleet management to include fuel usage and vehicle maintenance
  • Work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed, open to close.
  • Learn and be proficient with all business software

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in the pest control industry
  • Valid pest control licenses/certifications in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Experienced in customer service and retention
  • Proficiency in route management and service software
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities able to handle a wide range of duties
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Must pass pre-employment background screening
