The Senior Manager, Major Accounts is a highly strategic role that provides leadership, expertise, and direction across the Client Services organization, serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners. The role leads complex, high-impact initiatives, provides consultation on critical business opportunities, and drives strategic projects that shape client outcomes, operational excellence, and long-term business growth well beyond direct account support. This role influences and shapes how we serve and support the industry's largest advertisers.
What you'll do:
โ€ข Responsible for driving SiriusXM's client service vision and activation for enterprise clients.
โ€ข Lead strategic account growth creating proactive projects that expand your influence beyond dedicated accounts.
โ€ข Build and drive client success, developing media strategies, and strengthening major brand relationships through strategic account work.
โ€ข Partner with Client Services leadership and Sales executives to enhance client relationships, accelerate outcomes and results, and shape best practices for our top advertisers.
โ€ข Expert facilitator, project manager, and internal/external liaison, collaborating with clients to strengthen their brands by applying SiriusXM's platforms.
โ€ข Anticipate challenges, provide proactive solutions, and identify incremental opportunities to grow client success and revenue in a fast paced ever-changing environment.
โ€ข Active communicator and team lead; constantly sharing best practices and speaking to direct account and cross-functional teams in how to incorporate and utilize
โ€ข Manage a portfolio of complex and high-value accounts, creating and developing strategic plans to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
โ€ข Maintain deep relationships with main internal and external decision-makers and partners within assigned accounts.
โ€ข Vertical strategy expert; be on-hand, when needed, to provide guidance and direction for non-assigned accounts.
โ€ข Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify opportunities, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. (e.g. annual/quarterly business reviews, client newsletters, audience/vertical narratives, campaign performance wraps).
โ€ข Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and create tailored solutions and presentations that meet customer needs. Bridge the gaps and be the team go-to lead.
โ€ข Oversee all research; analyze customer data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and provide insights to all internal/external team members.
โ€ข Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts, resulting in increased revenue and customer loyalty.
โ€ข Envision and lead proactive independent projects to maintain and gain incremental revenue and introduce new considerations to wider teams.
What you'll need:
โ€ข Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience.
โ€ข Experience in account management or a related field.
โ€ข Experience in both meeting and exceeding sales targets and proactively building new incremental opportunities.
โ€ข Expert product knowledge and ability to promote the SiriusXM value proposition.
โ€ข In-depth knowledge of the SiriusXM platforms, advertising industry, market trends, and competitor landscape.
โ€ข Navigating ambiguity; handling and leading complex situations when simple black-and-white solutions won't work
โ€ข Working with First Party & Third Part sales research tools; identifying and crafting insights pushing new growth areas
โ€ข Adapt and navigate complex organizational structures and build relationships with senior-level executives.
โ€ข Expertise with CRM software and sales analytics tools, with advanced ability to leverage data to inform account strategies.
โ€ข Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $108,700 to $144,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
