How you'll make an impact:

We have a terrific opportunity for a Staff Technical Program Manager with a passion for delivering high quality products in a complex, fast paced environment. As part of the Client Software Engineering organization, the Staff Technical Program Manager will work with engineering teams to deliver world-class features for SiriusXM & Pandora applications and websites, as well as features that support the Automotive client. 

As a Staff TPM, you will act as a technical authority and organizational leader, owning large programs that span multiple teams and systems, improving delivery processes, and serving as a key liaison for Platform Services APIs and consumer-facing applications across SiriusXM and Pandora.

We are looking for someone who is results-oriented and highly comfortable facilitating engineering teams to meet commitments and successfully deliver high quality products and new features. You enjoy being of service to your team and to the larger organization, and your leadership is grounded in trust, transparency, and kindness.

What you'll do 

 Manage and coordinate multiple engineering teams delivering platform and consumer-facing features

Drive and define program requirements, success metrics, and end to end delivery plans

 Balance scope, timeline, and quality to achieve optimal outcomes

Contribute to weekly and monthly status reports on health of programs

Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to develop and maintain multi-quarter roadmaps

 Ensure technical feasibility and sequencing align with company strategy and platform evolution

 Lead Agile ceremonies and reinforce best practices across teams

 Assist with story definition, backlog prioritization, and dependency resolution

 Support teams in scaling delivery across complex initiatives

 Build trusted relationships across teams and leadership levels

 Advocate for clear priorities, technical excellence, and customer-focused outcomesInfluence without authority and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders

What you'll need:

7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Scrum Master, managing cross-functional projects.

 Strong technical proficiency, including experience with software development, APIs, QA, or system architecture.

 Deep understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies, including release planning and dependency management

 Excellent communication and problem solving skills

 Ability to facilitate teams and individuals working collaboratively and efficiently.

 Proven ability to manage large, ambiguous, cross-functional programs.

 Proficient knowledge and experience in release planning and management

 Experience in risk reporting, management and mitigation

 Experience working with consumer-facing applications, platform services, or large-scale distributed systems.

Demonstrated ability to influence technical and product strategy

 Experience leading program management best practices

 Comfort operating in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments

 Strong executive presence and ability to communicate at multiple levels

 Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT, Gemini, etc.

 Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

 Preferred certifications: Scrum Master Certification (such as CSM or PSM) or PMP and any other relevant certifications.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $141,000 to $179,250 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
