Job description

Same truck, same freight, but a different rhythm. This one is for drivers who don't mind covering more ground during the week in exchange for a real reset when they get back - out Monday, home before the weekend hits, 34 hours to fully unplug.

  • Runs across Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio through the week
  • Home weekly for a 34 hour reset (weekends not guaranteed, schedule follows the freight)
  • Average 1,600 miles per week
  • Average 10 stops per week, short hauls under 150 miles each
  • 2023 Freightliner sleepers, automatic transmission
  • Outward-facing cameras only
  • Reefer freight, mostly groceries in dual and tri-temp trailers
  • All driver unload, pallet jack with some hand unloading

Pay:

  • Average weekly gross: $1,700-$1,800
  • Average annual gross: $88,000 to $90,000
  • $0.90 per mile (includes $0.15/mile bonus), plus $20 per stop and $35 per load
  • $0.05/mile raise available at your one year mark
  • Sign-on bonus up to $7,500, paid out over your first year on the job

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years old
  • At least 6 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • No more than 3 DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years
