Given the complexity of the organization and the role, we are looking for a Manager to support this growing segment for the team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Experiential Marketing within the Brand Partnerships & Experiential team, this role will be responsible for supporting and executing marketing programs that strategically support and grow the brand. This person will be expected to work as a collaborative partner with groups across Comcast Business and overall ecosystem, as well as with agency partners, tradeshow organizers, and others to move work forward with clarity. Primary directives will be to support multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, and act as a subject matter expert to various cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will have experience creating event concepts, project management, sports marketing, evaluating goals & new strategic opportunities, budgeting, securing sponsorships, handling logistics, handling event marketing and communications, coordinating sub-contractors and vendors, and evaluating event effectiveness.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all coordination and execution of Comcast Business experiential programs to provide best-in-class experiences that embody our brand, drive business outcomes, and build customer relationships.
  • Maintain close alignment with the Senior Director of Brand Partnerships & Experiential to develop experiences targeted to the specific needs of the customer and vertical.
  • Responsible for project financial performance through budget creation, management, tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Confidently present updates and key information to internal and external teams on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the team stays on track with schedules throughout the course of the project. Manage onsite/execution teams to ensure the seamless installation, rehearsal, and execution of projects.
  • In partnership with creative, maintain responsibility for bringing creative concepts to life. This includes working across various applications and mediums, from digital to environmental within live, semi-live, and virtual experiences.
  • Engage in proactive vendor management and negotiation. 
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of Comcast Business’ products, business objectives, brand standards and customer segments to contribute meaningfully to event strategy and communications.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure programmatic and creative projects are properly aligned to business objectives and brand standards.
  • Review and approve all customer-facing communications with a high degree of accountability for accuracy and brand representation.
  • Ensure our brand is represented well across our sports marketing properties
  • Maintain open communications with internal and external stakeholders to inform them of strategic updates, project deadlines, and status checkpoints, including pre-event staff training and post-event recaps.
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial Marketing & Sales to ensure consistent and effective messaging, and alignment on key solutions priorities to drive business objectives.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to prioritize and problem solve based on business and program needs.
  • Continuously identify ways to add value, problem solve and deliver effective solutions that impact KPIs.
  • Champion standardization and documentation of event best practices, milestone reporting, metrics, and strategic checkpoints.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Experience with cross-agency collaboration, communication and logistics. 
  • 6+ years’ experience in production, activations / live events.
