Job description

The Xfinity Mobile Arena is one of the worldโ€™s busiest arenas, home of the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Villanova University basketball, family shows and concerts. Since opening in 1996, the arena is the centerpiece of sports and entertainment in the greater Philadelphia region as well as prominently featured in the national spotlight. The 21,000-seat arena is a showcase arena for the companyโ€™s industry-leading qualities as an operator and an innovator in the live event experience.

Job Summary

While on duty, be constantly circulating throughout the building.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Observe and report everything that occurs during your shift to your Command Center Supervisor.
  • Document incidents and provide accurate information.
  • Walk premises (inside and outside) to ensure building is secure.
  • Perform probe tours on all shifts to ensure integrity of Complex.
  • Respond to all issues as dispatched by Command Center Supervisor.
  • Work with Base Building staff, employees and guests on a daily basis.
  • Review Post Orders and Read File on regular basis.
  • Check bags for contraband.
  • Lock and unlock doors as requested by Command Center Supervisor.
  • Work in cooperation with other Security personnel as a security team.
  • Display professionalism while interacting within the Building.
  • Work various assignments inside and outside building.
  • Issue visitor passes through visitor management system.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Must have flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
