Job Summary

The Systems Analyst is a vital member of the finance team reporting to the Sr. Manager, Financial Systems and is responsible for the maintenance and optimization of our business and financial systems. The position will support our financial systems such as ERP, expense management, reconciliation, A/P, and FP&A solutions and will work with other business owners on systems such as a data warehouse and Ticketing System. This role will work closely with the systems manager in the implementation, operation, and monitoring of these systems and processes which drive company growth, as well as the output and key performance indicators that these systems provide to management. This position is responsible for the development and monitoring of data that measures process efficiency, and the related reporting to company management. The Systems Analyst should be a critical thinker with a strong accounting acumen and adept with accounting systems and processes.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Financial Systems Manager, finance team, and acts as the liaison to the information technology department
  • Collaborates with functional teams in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications
  • Supports and implements enhancements to existing applications
  • Maintains systems and resolves system issues
  • Documents processes and workflow mapping
  • Helps develop tools to measure system productivity and efficiency
  • Communicates effectively with third parties
  • Creates essential business reports / validates output
  • Assists with system audits
  • Performs related duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager of Financial Systems
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education, Work Experience Requirements and/or Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related field required
  • Minimum 2-3 Years' Experience implementing and maintaining accounting and business systems
  • NetSuite experience required; proficient with saved searches, customizations and workflows. SuiteScript experience is a plus
  • Concur, Tipalti, Blackline, Celigo knowledge preferred
  • Familiarity with SQL and JavaScript
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to collaborate and support others throughout the organization and external partners
  • Ability to own the end-to-end process lifecycle
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
