Job Summary

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for the design, development, and evolution of mission‑critical security applications. You will architect scalable backend services using GoLang or Java while developing modern front‑end interfaces in Angular. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for secure software engineering. You will mentor engineers, champion AI‑driven development workflows, and help ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our platforms. The CB Global Security Software Development team builds secure, scalable software experiences that empower our Security Operations Center (SOC) and enterprise customers. We support a portfolio of advanced security solutions, including Threat Monitoring and Response, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Managed Detection and Response (MDR). Our engineering team drives innovation, contributes to global cybersecurity initiatives, and leverages AI across the entire software development lifecycle.

Job Description

This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship.  To be considered for this role, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead technical teams, provide architectural guidance, and conduct code reviews (7+ years).

  • Design and build software for Threat Monitoring, EDR, and MDR platforms.

  • Develop scalable full‑stack applications using Angular and GoLang or Java.

  • Drive AI‑enabled SDLC improvements (testing, code generation, analysis).

  • Architect RESTful APIs and microservices integrating with PostgreSQL and Oracle.

  • Utilize Linux, Docker, Kubernetes; implement Vault, OIDC, and RBAC.

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch).

  • Work with engineering team, product, and user experience to understand new requirements.

  • Refine and estimate new deliverables.

  • Implement new application programming interfaces, backend services, front-end user interface components, and automation tasks to specification provided with the assistance of senior team members.

  • Understand platform usage and assist with production deployments and customer issue triage.

  • Design and develop highly available and scalable applications that can be hosted on cloud platforms.

  • Design web applications that take can function with interruptions in connectivity.

  • Design and develop security features as part of the development and embrace the DevSecOps culture.

  • Work closely with the architects and DevOps Engineers to define the functional and technical requirements.

  • Create insights for managers to track business and operational metrics.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required skills/background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

  • Frontend: Advanced experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS.

  • Backend: Senior-level proficiency in GoLang or Java.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.

  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle.

  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Experience implementing Vault, OIDC, RBAC, and secure coding practices.

  • AI for SDLC: Practical experience using AI tools to enhance development productivity.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with Elasticsearch or comparable search/indexing platforms.

  • Familiarity with networking concepts (SD‑WAN, Ethernet services, secure tunneling).

  • Understanding of SOC workflows, SIEM, EDR, or MDR technologies.

  • Experience in large-scale enterprise or cybersecurity environments.
