Job Description:Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Test Engineer to support Engine Performance Development through engine dynamometer testing and validation. This role focuses on verifying engine attributes related to combustion, mechanical function, and durability through hands-on testing, data collection, processing, and reporting.

The role supports engine performance development, including test planning, execution, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute test plans to validate engine attributes.
  • Review test plans and execute testing to support engine performance development.
  • Perform engine dynamometer testing to validate combustion, mechanical function, and engine durability.
  • Work with cross-functional groups to execute test plans.
  • Collect and process test data.
  • Prepare test data and observations for presentations to cross-functional team members.
  • Support testing and validation of engine attributes related to combustion, mechanical function, and durability.
  • Perform test line-up, data processing, and reporting of data observations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with engine combustion development testing and calibration development.
  • Experience in engine design or knowledge of engine functions.
  • Background knowledge of engine testing and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with data processing tools, combustion data analysis, and engine controls and calibration.
  • Experience with data collection.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Understanding of engine functions.
