Job description

Pediatric job opening in Columbus, MSLocated in Eastern Mississippi - 90 miles from Meridian, MS and 150 miles from Jackson, MSPosition Details:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Start Date: within next 6 months
  • Currently, the group is looking for a pediatrician to rotate hospital call with the current pediatrician and have an office schedule.
  • The practice is currently open 7am-5pm Monday through Thursday and 7am-12pm on Fridays. The pediatrician will come in by 9am and work until close.
  • Mostly Nursery inpatient with occasional Peds inpatient and clinic.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Continuing education yearly stipend and paid days, paid vacation, paid sick, licenses and malpractice coverage, and daycare stipend.
  • Average patients per day: 30
  • Vacation time: 80 hours for vacation, 40 hours for sick, 40 hours for continuing education
  • Number of other providers in the group: 1 pediatrician, 2 nurse practitioners
