About the Role:

The Pipe Fitter 2 plays a critical role in the manufacturing industry by assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems that are essential for the transport of liquids and gases. This position requires precision and technical expertise to ensure that all piping components meet safety and quality standards. The Pipe Fitter 2 will work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to interpret blueprints and specifications, ensuring accurate fabrication and installation. This role demands a strong understanding of various pipe fitting techniques, including grinding and plasma cutting, to prepare and join pipes effectively. Ultimately, the Pipe Fitter 2 contributes to the seamless operation of manufacturing processes by ensuring reliable and durable piping infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited pipe fitting apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in pipe fitting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
