Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Scientist or Engineer to join our Inkjet Materials R&D team onsite in Rochester, New York.  This  individual will work on the development and characterization of new ink formulations and materials for digital inkjet printing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development, evaluation and commercialization of new ink formulations and functional materials
  • Establishment of testing methods and expand internal infrastructure for IJ materials characterization
  • Develop understanding of the fluid properties required for printing and product performance.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • ~5 to 10 years experience in the inks, printing, colloids, dispersions or related industries
  • Basic understanding of dispersions and related processes and materials
  • History formulating ink for Piezoelectric based jetting a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of color science
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on teams
  • Willingness to work hands-on in the lab

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science
