The Junior Photo Retoucher will work as part of YETI's in-house Photo Studio and supports the creation of high quality product and campaign images for marketing, web, and sales support materials. You'll work closely with content production, creative teams and product teams to retouch all studio photography.

You will support the editing of editing a high volume of eCommerce product images, shot daily in our photo studio. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental to the company, ensuring our photography styles follow brand guidelines and accurately represent our products under established standards and guidance.

What You'll Do

  • Work in YETI's in-house photo studio to create pixel perfect imagery for Brand Campaigns, eComm, Digital Marketing, Retail, Wholesale, following established workflows and standards,

  • Works with the guidance of Senior/Lead Retoucher(s) to ensureimaging standards are maintained, with accountability for technical quality oftheirfinal output

  • May provide input on quality and consistency issues to senior team members or partners as appropriate.

  • Stay up to date with digital tools and software and applies learnings to improve overall execution

  • Photo editing, retouching, recoloring according to strict quality standards

  • Utilize appropriate digital asset management techniques to track photography between multiple channels

  • Ensure imaging standards are maintained, for assigned deliverables, escalating issues when standards cannot be met

  • Catalog, name, crop, color manage, and spot retouch a high volume of image assets under tight deadlines

  • Execute feedback from stakeholders while maintaining visual consistency, quality, and brand standards.

  • Be able to retouch product and on-model imagery with a fast turnaround time

  • Work closely with the Photo Studio team and photographers on all concepts and execution, contributing ideas as appropriate

  • Understand deadlines and schedules in order to help prioritize product and image organization in a high-volume environment

  • Be a steward of and maintain the YETI Brand in all creative created in-house

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

  • Greater than 2 years of relevant experience in a studio environment, ideally as a Photo Retoucher in the eCommerce environment.

  • Expertise with Mac OS, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Detail oriented, organized, and methodical approach to retouching

  • Enthusiasm for exploring new techniques and ideas in pursuit of improving existing workflow within established processes

  • Knowledge of studio photography, as well as photographic vocabulary and terms

  • Applies problem solving skills to defined and moderately complex tasks, seeking guidance for ambiguous or new situations

  • Passion for the technical side of studio photography

  • Quality orientation and high attention to detail

  • Must be a team player, able to work within tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
