The sponsor must have the ability to serve as an adviser and empower club members to organize, coordinate, and conduct club activities that reinforce the school's mission, vision, and value statements. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of Marching Band Color Guard. Experience in secondary school Color Guard activities is desirable. The candidate must have the ability to pay attention to detail and handle stressful situations while keeping track of various operations. Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to work with others and to easily communicate with the band director, band and team members, and parents. Weekend and late-night commitments are expected from the sponsor.
