Being a crossing guard is a great way to give back to your community. By ensuring the safe crossing of children within your community, you are providing a valuable service that is appreciated by teachers, parents, caregivers, not to mention the children themselves. How much does a crossing guard get paid.

Davenport School Crossing Guards earn $23.56 an hour. Shifts available before and after school. 7:05am - 8:05 am and 2:40pm - 3:10pm on school days

If both shifts are worked, you will work 1.5 hours per day and earn $35.34 per day. What does a Crossing Guard do. Crossing guards are responsible for ensuring the safe crossing of children and pedestrians across streets and intersections

Qualifications What are the qualifications needed to be a Crossing Guard. A Crossing Guard must be very safety conscious. Their safety and the safety of the children they work with is of the utmost importance.
