On-Call Access Control Guard I

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in national security? LB&B Associates Inc. is searching for a dedicated, part-time, on-call Access Control Guard I to support the E-2 C/D COMS/CIS contract. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the facility Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and access control systems to ensure security at all times.
  • Report any security violations in accordance with local policy and procedures.
  • Verify personnel against authorized Government Security web databases and access rosters before allowing entry to secure areas.
  • Restrict building access to only those on approved lists or in security databases.
  • Issue Visitor Badges and maintain detailed badge logs as required.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate event locations, offices, or departments.
  • Receive parcel deliveries and maintain access logs, ensuring proper sign-in procedures are followed.
  • Retain and manage Government-provided security access lists/databases.
  • Answer telephones, respond to information requests, transfer calls, and take messages as needed.
  • Notify base fire, medical, or security departments when required, and participate in fire drills.
  • Respond to requests for securing intrusion alarms and notify security teams of any suspected breaches.
  • Verify personnel using access rosters and databases, including handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Requirements
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD TOP Secret clearance.
  • Ability to perform all listed duties with professionalism and attention to detail.
