Responsibilities:
  • Develop new and improved products for Chem-Trend worldwide in order to meet customer demands in a rapid manner.

  • Provide rapid and timely technical service, assisting Sales and customers.

  • Recommend R&D programs (internal or external), investigate, develop, and implement new technologies.

  • Provide technical support to all company departments.

  • Effectively interface with suppliers in identifying, qualifying, and in some cases developing new raw materials.

  • Participate in developing new lab testing procedures.

  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced technical staff, helping to improve the overall scientific caliber of the Lab personnel.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • 1-5 years working in Chemistry or a related field.
  • High level of technical expertise in lubricants or surface chemistry- a plus.
