onsemi is currently seeking an experienced financial analyst to join our organization. The analyst will be the key member of our cost planning team, providing essential linkage between various manufacturing site controllers and BU controllers and corporate FP&A team. The main responsibility of the analyst is to participate in onsemi's monthly financial forecasting process and provide key elements of gross margin forecast.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and distribute weekly financial tracking reports covering revenue shipments, earned value, scrap, foreign exchange risk & opportunity, capital expenditure payments, and site-level inventory roll forwards.
  • Analyze manufacturing financial performance against plan targets (AOP/BOQ/EOQ) and highlight key variances and trends for management review.

Month-End & Quarter-End Close
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries across multiple manufacturing sites, including accruals, asset retirement obligations, inventory adjustments, and insurance allocations.
  • Coordinate the upload of cost details into enterprise planning systems to ensure accurate tracking and alignment with month-end close requirements.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly close reports including days-of-inventory analysis, scrap reporting, overtime cost summaries, and journal entry reconciliations.

Forecast Consolidation & Planning Support
  • Support quarterly forecast cycles (BOQ/EOQ/AOP) by coordinating with BU Finance and site teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and prepare scrap forecasts and variance analyses.
  • Assist with forecast consolidation activities and ad hoc financial modeling as needed during planning cycles.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Process Improvement
  • Partner with site controllers, Supply Chain, and Business Unit Finance to resolve data discrepancies, confirm forecast targets, and ensure consistency across reporting platforms.
  • Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining reporting workflows and reducing manual effort
  • Provide guidance and improvement ideas / trainings to site finance teams to improve efficiency
  • Assist in strategic technology P&L roll up and sharing of information with businesses
  • Support NPD costing process

Qualifications
  • BS in Accounting / Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience required; semiconductor industry strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience with Oracle ERP preferred
  • Strong communication skills, articulate, and able to explain complex issues clearly
  • Flexible, open minded
  • Advanced experience in Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
