About the role
Carrier Residential Solutions HVAC Finance, located in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a qualified candidate for a FP&A Analyst.to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and investment analysis for Residential Product-Line Sales and Margin and Residential SG&A. The candidate will provide insightful analysis and projections and interact cross functionally with Finance, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, OPS, and SIOP Teams to enable operation excellence.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans.
  • Full P&L responsibility for Residential Product line
  • Develops analysis on budgets, forecasts, inventory, and / or sales margins.
  • Prepare / consolidate / support interim & monthly reports
  • Prepare and provide insights for Finished Goods Excess and Obsolete Inventory
  • Manage, develop, monitor Residential SG&A cost centers forecast/plan preparation, reporting and analysis
  • Provides interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports
  • Continuous improvement of processes, tools, and reporting efficiencies
  • Special projects and ad hoc business/financial analysis

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 + years of experience in FP&A

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting/forecasting processes.
  • Proven track record with financial process/reporting improvement and simplification
  • Ability to develop and apply complex financial models involving large data sets
  • Strong financial/cost analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Self-direction and organization skills critical to achieving month-end reporting deadlines.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
