Regional Head of Workplace - Americas

Job description

Who we are
Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.
Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We're changing that.
Atoms builds Physical AI- real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.
This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don't just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.
We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.
If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.
What you'll do
We are seeking a Regional Head of Workplace - Americas to lead Workplace operations across our offices in the U.S. and Colombia.
Based in San Francisco, you will directly oversee Workplace operations for our San Francisco and Mountain View offices, while leading a team of five Workplace professionals across the U.S. and Colombia. You will also partner closely with our Real Estate Business Director to shape and execute the Workplace strategy for the region.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational ownership. You'll set regional standards, develop and support your team, oversee budgets and vendors, and ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience across locations. You'll work closely with Real Estate, HR, IT, Security, and other teams to build scalable Workplace programs that support the company as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Workplace operations across our US and Colombia offices, establishing consistent standards, processes, and service levels across the region.
  • Directly oversee day-to-day Workplace operations for San Francisco and Mountain View.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Workplace professionals across the US and Colombia.
  • Partner with the Real Estate Business Director to develop and execute the Workplace strategy for the Americas.
  • Own regional Workplace planning, budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and operational performance.
  • Partner with Real Estate on office moves, expansions, reorganizations, space planning, and other Workplace initiatives.
  • Establish and track Workplace standards and KPIs to drive accountability and continuous improvement across locations.
  • Ensure appropriate emergency preparedness and Workplace procedures are in place across the region.
  • Build a strong onsite culture and ensure employees across locations have a consistent and high-quality Workplace experience.

What we're looking for
  • Strong experience in Workplace, Facilities, Office Operations, or Employee Experience, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth organization.
  • Experience leading multi-site or regional Workplace operations.
  • Proven people management experience, including leading and developing geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to operate at both the strategic and hands-on level, from developing regional programs to solving day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Strong experience managing vendors, budgets, contracts, and external partners.
  • Experience with office moves, expansions, space planning, or Workplace transformation projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions and levels of seniority.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and execution skills.

What success looks like
At Atoms, you'll have the opportunity to shape and scale the Workplace function across the Americas, building the strategy, standards, and team that enable our people to do their best work as we grow.
We're tackling one of the defining challenges of our time-bringing automation into the physical world to drive real, lasting impact. That means pushing beyond what's known, building what doesn't yet exist, and creating the environments and infrastructure that make that progress possible.
The work is ambitious and challenging, but grounded in a shared sense of purpose, strong ownership, and a team committed to building together.
Why join us
At Atoms, you'll work on one of the defining challenges of our time-bringing automation into the physical world to drive real, lasting impact. We exist to uncover valuable unknown truths and turn them into progress, which means constantly pushing beyond what's known and building what doesn't yet exist. The work is ambitious and often challenging, but it's grounded in a shared sense of purpose and a team committed to seeing it through together. Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team-so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.
What else you need to know
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and requires an onsite presence five days a week. The primary office location will be San Francisco, with an expected one day per week working from our Mountain View office.
As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. We're constantly reimagining our industry, creating new products, and refining our processes, and we do our best work together. That's why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.
The base salary range for this role is $117,000 - $145,000 per year.
Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

    • 8 paid holidays per year
    • Paid sick time

    • Paid Parental Leave

Benefits are subject to change at the company's discretion.
Atoms accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
