Job description

The Cosmetic Autobody Repair Technician plays a crucial role in restoring specialty vehicles, used cars, and retail automobiles to their original condition through expert collision repair and paint application. Working primarily as a solo technician, this role requires hands-on skills in damage assessment, sanding, buffing, polishing, and quality inspection to ensure superior results. The technician also interacts directly with customers and occasionally travels locally to meet job demands, paint systems, and both electric and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform collision repairs on specialty vehicles, used cars, and retail automobiles
  • Apply paints accurately using spray booths and paint systems
