Job description

Emerling Ford is seeking a skilled Collision Technician to join our team in Springville, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles involved in collisions to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Restoration: Perform expert-level collision repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Structural Work: Utilize advanced measuring and pulling equipment to restore bent or twisted vehicle frames back to factory specifications.
  • Panel Replacement: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble damaged body panels, sheet metal, and vehicle trim.
  • Detailed Craftsmanship: Execute precise dent removal, plastic welding, and fill depressions with body filler.
  • Combo Tech Flat Rate Pay: Work along side of other start to finish collision/refinish technicians. Job requires collision repair and refinishing start to finish per flat rate hr per estimate.
  • Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and operate all shop machinery according to safety standards. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
 
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional auto body repair experience (A-Level or B-Level preferred).
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency using frame racks, measuring systems, and welding equipment, refinishing.
  • Traits: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a high level of physical stamina.
  • Credentials: Valid driver’s license . I-CAR or ASE certifications are a major plus.
