Job description

Overview

Snap-on is looking for a strong sales executive to drive sales for our undercar equipment solutions. Responsible for growing the sales and profitability of our automotive equipment business unit and brands by developing and implementing strategies to maximize Snap-on's market share. Manage customer experience and equipment sales to defined Key Accounts in a defined geography and list of accounts. Coordinate sales and marketing activities of our equipment business unit to improve sales in the defined territory and list of accounts.   

Location: Candidates must be located within an hour of an airport or be willing to relocate to Little Rock, AR

Travel Required: 50%

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales and profitability goals for Snap-on Equipment (SOE). 
  • Provide tactical plan in areas of sales, promotion planning, profitability, and general business operations for assigned accounts. 
  • Direct meeting contact with Key Account Customers 
  • Coordinate efforts of business units to support assigned customers. 
  • Achieve sales targets and growth objectives. 
  • Align the business unit support team with the business direction and goals. 
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve goals. 
  • Follow through on commitments. 
  • Solve problems; make sound decisions. 
  • Develop and measure new programs that drive sales growth to Key Accounts. 
  • Work closely with Key Account customers to determine services and equipment that meet their business objectives.  
  • Remain updated with industry standards and emerging technology through professional development. 
  • Build solid relationships with Key Accounts and internal business units. 
  • Deliver presentations on a regular basis. 
Qualifications
  • Proven direct sales and sales management experience required. 
  • Bachelor's degree and knowledge of Snap-on Equipment, preferred. 
  • Strong communications - interpersonal, relationship building, presentations, oral/written, listening, etc. 
  • Ability to effectively present in front of groups. 
  • Sales forecasting and planning 
  • Marketing planning 
  • Automotive business operations 
  • Ability to train internal and external customers. 
  • Competitor's strength knowledge 
  • Computer proficiency
