Colleton Medical Center is a 131-bed hospital that provides acute care and surgical services to the Walterboro community. It is home to private labor, delivery and recovery rooms as well as state-of-the-art fetal monitoring and infant security. All labor/maternal nurses are certified in Advanced Fetal Monitoring by the Association of Women's Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.

Walterboro is a city in Colleton County home to nearly 5,400 residents. Walterboro is just one hour from Charleston, Savannah and Hilton Head. Known as the "Front Porch of the Lowcountry," Walterboro is home to a charming downtown area and several historic homes and churches.
