Home Health Nurse Position

Our home health care agency is rapidly expanding, and we require a home health nurse. A home health nurse will be responsible for patients of all ages. They will educate, treat, and provide emotional support to their patients in order to help them recover from illnesses and injuries. Our home health nurses will work with the patient one-on-one at their home to provide convenience and comfort.

Responsibilities:

  • The primary goal is to focus on the needs of the patients.
  • Coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals about their patients' needs.
  • Assess patients' conditions and chart observations.
  • Administer medication prescribed by the patient's Physician.
  • Ability to maintain/clean any injuries.
  • Listen/talk to patients about any concerns or questions.
  • Be able to make any recommendations for patients to improve their quality of life.
  • Keeps the patient in a safe, secure, and healthy environment.

Qualifications:

  • Sharp eye for detail
  • Strong communication and patience skills
  • Friendly and compassionate
  • Ability to carry at least 30 lbs.
  • State registered nurse license required
  • Graduation from an approved nursing program
  • 2+ years' experience in the nursing field
  • Independent and good time management skills
