A public research university, New Jersey Institute of Technology offers about 100 undergraduate and graduate programs, including 19 doctoral programs, in fields including architecture, engineering, computer science, and liberal arts. Its Albert Dorman Honors College provides students with individualized curricula and honors colloquia including travel and featured speakers. More than 8,000 students attend the NJIT, which operates a single campus in Newark. NJIT was founded in 1884 as the Newark Technical School.
Job Description
The Ying Wu College of Computing Sciences at New Jersey Institute of Technology seeks a University Lecturer to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Informatics Department.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have an MS degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related computational area. A PhD degree and/or prior university teaching experience are advantages.
Candidates should be knowledgeable and able to teach classes in some of the following areas: IT system administration and security, network administration and security, the development of web applications, database and cloud administration, social networks, E-commerce technology, or related topics.
