Job Description Summary
Beaufort County Community College's Continuing Education Division is seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to serve as summer interns with the Beaufort Performing Arts Collective. These internships offer hands-on, in-classroom experience in the arts and are ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable teaching and arts education experience to enhance their resumes. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a strong interest in the visual or performing arts.

Education: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
Essential Duties
Interns will gain hands-on experience in managing arts-focused classrooms. Prior to placement, interns will complete required training provided by BCCC's Personal Enrichment Program. Upon completion, interns will assist with youth summer classes, supporting assigned instructors and classroom activities.
Classes will be held between June 8, 2026, and August 24, 2026, with specific class assignments provided in advance. In addition to their assigned roles, interns may also volunteer to assist with other activities throughout the summer schedule. Interns will be observed and evaluated throughout the program to support their professional development and ensure a meaningful experience.
