Job Title
On-Call MSK Lab Supervisor
Job Summary
The On-Call MSK Lab Supervisor will provide essential support for the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Program by assisting faculty and students during hands-on training sessions, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring a safe and organized learning environment.
Schoolcraft is a comprehensive, open-door, community-based college. The mission of the College is to provide a transformational learning experience designed to increase the capacity of individuals and groups to achieve intellectual, social, and economic goals.
Job Duties
  • Assist instructor with the lab operations.
  • Support instructional and clinical objectives of the MSK curriculum.
  • Help to ensure lab activities align with program goals and industry best practices.
  • Help manage ultrasound and laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in scheduling student practice sessions.
  • Assist instructor during lab-based instruction.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and effective learning environment.
  • Help clean laboratories after use and restore them back to their original state.
Required Qualifications
  1. Associate's degree from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (CAAHEP preferred).
  2. ARDMS credentialed with RMSKS (Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer) certification.
  3. Three (3) years of experience working with Musculoskeletal ultrasound.
  4. Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Office Environment: This role may involve standing and walking for long periods of time, repeating the same movements, and the use of hands to feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit, use arms/hands/fingers to handle or feel, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell. The employee will regularly move to 10 lbs., occasionally up to 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.
  • Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
