About the Role
The Organic Social & Influencer Marketing Manager leads the strategy, planning, and execution of Avon's organic social presence and influencer marketing programs, growing brand awareness and community engagement in support of key business objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, this role manages a team of two direct reports while partnering cross-functionally to bring campaigns to life.
This position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, balancing long-term planning with day-to-day execution, content creation, and budget and vendor management in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Organic Social Strategy
  • Lead and execute organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Lead social content production by partnering with internal creative teams, agency partners, and in-house resources to bring social campaigns to life.
  • Develop social-first content and creative concepts, including hands-on filming and editing while coaching the team to create engaging, platform-native content.
  • Own the social content calendar, ensuring alignment with brand priorities.
  • Identify emerging social trends and platform innovations to continually evolve Avon's social presence.
  • Monitor channel performance and optimize content based on engagement, reach and business impact

Influencer Marketing & Partnerships
  • Own the end-to-end influencer marketing strategy across paid partnerships, product gifting/PR and creator activations.
  • Identify, recruit and cultivate relationships with creators who authentically represent the Avon brand.
  • Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns, including negotiations, contracts, deliverables, performance reporting, and optimization.
  • Support TikTok Shop affiliate programs in partnership with agency teams.
  • Lead seasonal influencer seeding programs.

Leadership & Operations
  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of two, setting priorities and managing workloads across multiple initiatives.
  • Own social and influencer campaign planning and creative briefing, partnering with Brand Marketing, Creative, PR, and eCommerce to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Manage the Organic Social & Influencer budget, agency relationships, new vendor onboarding, invoicing, and monthly budget reporting in partnership with key internal teams.
  • Own KPI development and performance measurement, using insights to optimize strategy and business impact.
  • Prepare recurring weekly and executive reporting highlighting performance, learnings and optimization opportunities.

Qualifications
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in organic social media and influencer marketing, preferably within beauty, lifestyle or consumer brands.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven experience developing social media strategies that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong experience managing influencer campaigns from strategy through execution and reporting, including PR seeding/gifting programs.
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, and invoice/payment processes.
  • Experience with TikTok Shop or affiliate commerce programs a plus.

Skills & Tools
  • Passion for social media trends, creator culture, platform-native storytelling, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and directing social-first content, including hands-on filming/editing and leading production across internal teams and agency partners; portfolio required.
  • Self-motivated with excellent project management skills, able to prioritize multiple initiatives and work productively under tight timelines in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using social reporting and influencer analytics tools such as Dash Social, Tribe Dynamics/CreatorIQ, and Skeepers.
  • Experience presenting on camera and comfortable doing so.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
