Position Supervisor: Wendy Present Department/Office: Recruitment Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour, 0-25 hours per week depending on department need, availability of funds and student eligibility. This position will gain marketable work experience by working with Yavapai College staff, Faculty and affiliates in a group effort to support the mission, goals and values of Yavapai College. Will assist with duties including: Campus Tours Admissions Dean's office assistance The position is a leadership position for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Yavapai College (YC)

Recruitment Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve as YC representatives, and perform duties at various YC campus and community events. May be required to work evenings and weekends. Minimum Expectations & Requirements Minimum Expectations and Requirements: Must be enrolled in 6 credits All hiring documents must be completed prior to first work shift, including acceptable documentation for the I-9 Form.

Conduct campus tours for new students, schools, classes, and guests Represent Yavapai College during college events Support prospective students by answering questions and providing resources Develop an expanded knowledge of Yavapai College Assist with duties and tasks related to events put on by various YC departments Work with diverse populations on and off campus Attend weekly staff meeting and required training Assist with variety of office related tasks Possess the following qualities: leadership, dependability, initiative, enthusiasm, discipline and willingness to grow both personally and professionally Strong speaking skills Essential Functions The start date, to occur no sooner than July 1st of the current aid year, of this position will be determined by the hiring supervisor after an applicant is hired. This position has a standard end of assignment date of June 30th of the current aid year. Assignment may end sooner or be extended depending FWS eligibility, availability and/or department need.
