Job description

Collections Specialist

The Opportunity:

Play a lead role in the day-to-day collections' activity for several large client accounts. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to ensure the resolution of outstanding payment issues. Prepare monthly collection forecasts and track daily cash received against targets. Manage and provide effective oversight of collection controls and processes. Identify, report, and manage risk around ethics compliance, cash collections, and cash applications. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial collections or accounts receivable

  • Experience in finance

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail and accuracy

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with collections or accounts receivable within the Commercial services industry

  • Ability to generate ideas readily, exhibit creativity and ingenuity, and solve problems quickly

  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and develop process efficiencies, as needed

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including project and time management

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
