In publishing, printing, or administrative settings, collators ensure that pages or files are correctly sequenced for distribution or binding. Their work helps streamline production processes, prevent errors in document assembly, and improve efficiency in delivering organized materials. Collators can work manually or operate automated collating machines, depending on the industry and scale of the task.
