As a Senior or Staff Engineer on the Dry Etch R&D team, you will play a key role in developing and scaling plasma-based etch processes that enable next-generation packaging technologies. Key Responsibilities
Collateral Acquisition & Access Control
  • Coordinate secure download of foundry collateral (e.g., TSMC PDKs, IP bundles) from approved channels
  • Track delivery schedules and completeness of collateral versus plan
  • Enforce NDA and access-control policies for restricted foundry data
PDK Installation & Environment Setup
  • Install and configure PDKs, rule decks, models, and libraries in standardized environments
  • Align toolchain versions with foundry recommendations
  • Maintain directory structures and environment setup for multi-node support

Validation & Testing (Core Responsibility)
  • Complete PDK validation pipeline:
Unit testing (DRC/LVS/ERC/PERC, models, libraries)1. Smoke testing of end-to-end CAD flows
Regression testing versus prior PDK releases
  • Confirm that all validation checkpoints are satisfied before transferring to establish teams
