Staff Accountant
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid โ€“ up to 3โ€“4 days remote per week)
Salary: $65,000 โ€“ $75,000
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its collaborative accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain broad exposure across the accounting function while working in a stable, family-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate is positive, analytical, and eager to contribute to a close-knit team that values collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable invoices, including batching, routing for approval, cash disbursements, and bank interactions
  • Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support accounts receivable activities and communicate with vendors as needed
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and special projects

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Accounts payable experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
