Description
    Delivering training programs and courses to Marines and their staffs
  • Providing instruction on Marine Corps Program of Record (POR) systems and operational tactics
  • Conducting hands-on training and assessments
  • Reviewing lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercises for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with TECOM instructional methodology
  • Coordinating with the academics officer and curriculum review boards to keep training synchronized with MAGTF-level C2 doctrine
  • Delivering classroom and hands-on training on the use of collaborative tools to support battle rhythm events, information sharing, and decision-making in the COC
  • Teaching students how to configure, operate, and troubleshoot chat rooms, shared portals, and collaboration suites
  • Demonstrating how collaborative tools support situational awareness and COP integration across the MAGTF
  • Assessing student performance through written evaluations, practical applications, and scenario-driven exercises
  • Serving as primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all IM and COC collaborative tools taught within the course
  • Ensuring instruction aligns with current fleet requirements and integrates CAS, C2IE, MSS, TCS, GCCS, and all digital chat systems
  • Reviewing lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercises for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with TECOM instructional methodology

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or formal DoD Training
  • Successful completion of a military or commercial basic instructor course such as Marine Corps Center for Learning and Faculty Development (CLFD) "Facilitating Learning Experience Course" (FLEX), CLFD Designing Learning Experience Course (DLEX), Basic Instructor Course (BIC), a college certification course, or an equivalent alternative course
  • 10+ years of experience providing formal Period of Instructions (POIs) and supporting Combat Operations Centers (COC) training events
  • 5+ years of experience providing POI on Information Management and COC Collaborative Tools
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining POIs, lesson plans, instructor guides, and practical application exercises
  • Demonstrated experience with the following systems: CAS, C2IE, MSS, TCS, GCCS, and digital chat systems such as MAKO, Chat Surfer, JABBER, and TAK
  • Experience analyzing the effectiveness of training programs and operational plans
  • Experience with Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education (ISD/SAT-E) methodologies
  • Understanding of Marine Corps Service Level Training Exercise Program (SLTE-P) standards and objectives
  • Demonstrated experience with O365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possess a current DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
  • 5+ years of experience supporting MAGTF Operations Center Training Team (MOCTT) and/or MAGTF Integrated Systems Training Centers (MISTCs)
  • Demonstrated experience creating and instructing POIs on the following systems: CAS, C2IE, MSS, TCS, GCCS, and digital chat systems such as MAKO, Chat Surfer, JABBER, and TAK
  • Active-duty USMC experience with IM and COC Collaborative Tools
  • Possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Possess a current Microsoft Office Specialist Master certification
