The Westbrook School Department is seeking Van Drivers to drive students in various programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Valid Maine Driver's License with excellent driving record.
3. Appropriate licensing to meet Maine laws and regulations.
4. Must pass an annual physical.
5. Valid DOE fingerprinting certification.
6. A desire to work with and build a rapport with all students, including those with special needs.

The Westbrook School Transportation Department is a positive workplace environment dedicated to the safe and friendly transportation of all students. We offer a supportive environment for all drivers that includes a collaborative relationship with school administration to address any student transportation issues. We have a dedicated group of driving professionals that work together to problem solve and to make our department an enjoyable place to work each day.
We employ two full-time staff mechanics that ensure all of our transportation vehicles are meticulously maintained and that each driver feels confident that their assigned vehicle is always in great working order. Our transportation fleet is compromised of late model vehicles that offer the best in safety and comfort for both the driver and the student. Our team of drivers, mechanics and office personnel are what sets Westbrook School Transportation apart. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our students, families and staff.
